Completing the Upload
1. Power up the qCam by connecting it to the battery. Make sure the iPhone has sufficient battery too — it can charge while the qCam is powered.
2. Make sure you have an internet connection. The qCam needs either Wi-Fi or wired Ethernet connectivity to upload.
3. In the app, select "Saved Captures" to see your completed scans.

4. From the capture list, tap the upload button on the scan(s) you want to send. Each scan can take up to 30 minutes to upload, depending on your connection speed.
5. Scans upload automatically to your organization's account for processing — no further action needed once the upload starts.
If your connection is slow: use the included Ethernet-to-USB-C cable to connect directly to an ethernet cable outlet instead of relying on Wi-Fi.
If uploads keep failing: download the data directly to your computer and upload it manually to the Looq qApp (the web portal) instead.
Troubleshooting Wi-Fi Connection Issues
Most connection problems come down to a few common configuration issues you can work through in order.
1. Check your iPhone's saved Wi-Fi networks in the iPhone Settings.
- Having multiple saved networks can interfere — your iPhone might connect to one of those instead of the qCam's own network. Remove or forget any networks you don't need before connecting to the qCam.

2. Do a complete power reset.
Power down the qCam completely by clicking the Shutdown button, then restart your iPhone. Power the iPhone back on first, and only then reconnect the qCam to power.

3. Check for qCam updates.
Open the app and go to the updates button. Check more than once — updates are released in stages, so you may need to install multiple patches before you're fully up to date.

4. Test the connection.
- Try uploading a file from Saved Captures. If you get an error, retry — most issues resolve themselves after a couple of attempts as the connection stabilizes.
If none of that works: a slow or firewalled network can also block the connection. Try a different network such as a home network, or fall back to the wired transfer method via computer described in Connecting To Wired Network - Looq.ai.
