Data Integration Capabilities

Learn about how to use Looq data in other platforms

Updated on December 4th, 2025

1. What types of data exports do you support? We support the following export formats:

  • Point Clouds: LAZ
  • Nadir (ortho-style) Imagery: TIFF
  • Panoramas: JPG
  • Track: JSON

2. What are the available data integrations?

For any future/forward looking statements, please reference the Looq AI Safe Harbor Statement. Although the roadmap is subject to change, Looq AI estimates releasing integrations in the following order:

Overhead Utility

  • PLS-CADD – Complete! Download thinned & pre-classified point clouds and import directly into PLS-CADD
  • Neara – Complete! Download thinned point clouds and import directly into Neara.
  • OCalc-Pro – anticipated 2026
  • SPIDA – anticipated 2026

Survey / Civil

  • AutoCAD Civil 3D – Complete! Import point clouds (via ReCap) and orthos, create surfaces, or linework using Looq's Virtual Survey tool for automatic linework creation via a Survey Database.
  • Autodesk ReCap – Complete! Import classified point clouds
  • Trimble Business Center – Complete! Import point clouds and orthos, create surfaces, or draft using Looq's Virtual Survey tool for automatic linework creation via the Feature Definition Manager.
  • Trimble Connect – anticipated 2026
  • Bentley MicroStation – Import point clouds and orthos, create surfaces, or draft using Looq's Virtual Survey tool for automatic linework creation in OpenRoads.

Looq AI is committed to providing integrations that are most used and anticipates that the following integrations will be available at some point in the future (2024 and beyond). This includes GIS integrations into ESRI, and additional planimetric integrations for topographic mapping (more survey focused). No release date is confirmed on these integrations.

3. Does the data natively export to Autodesk, Bentley, or Trimble Applications?

Yes. Georeferenced point clouds (.LAZ) and orthos (.TIFF) can be imported directly into all of those environments for drafting or terrain/surface contour generation. Looq's Virtual Survey tool allows for creation of points and lines with corresponding feature codes which can be used for automatic linework generation in Autodesk, Bentley, and Trimble desktop applications.

4. Are you able to export an LAS file or classified point cloud through the web UI?

Looq AI automatically provides classified and geo-referenced .laz files through the qApp.

5. Where is data stored and managed?

Looq AI technology is designed and assembled in the United States. Looq provides a secure environment for your data. Data processing and storage is securely managed using Amazon AWS. Amazon AWS provides data centers located within the United States. Working in this environment ensures that all data stays within these locations.
