Wired Connection
Use this option if you do not have a stable wireless connection for the qCam. Wired connections are typically more stable and faster than a wireless connection, so this option is usually a better option.
1. Using the supplied USB-C to Ethernet adapter, plug the adapter into the USB-C port on the qCam, then connect an ethernet cable to the adapter directly to a wall outlet to connect.
Note
The ethernet connection is not to a computer or a laptop, but directly to an ethernet wall outlet to get direct wired internet access to the qCam
2. Once connected, go to “Saved Scans” on the qCam, and you will see the “Connected to ethernet” status.
You are now connected!
This will allow you to upload your captures directly from the qCam to our secure cloud environment.
