Create Site:
*Only Users with organization-level access to all sites can \ create a new site. Users with access to select sites cannot create a new site.
- Select Add => New Site.
2. Enter a name for the site, and an optional description.
3. Choose between Auto or Manual coordinate system.
Auto
For ease of processing when the accurate geolocation of the processed data isn't as important, you can choose Auto for the coordinate system.
The default settings for this option are:
- Projection - Universal Transverse Mercator projects in meters
- Horizontal Datum - NAD83(2011)
- Vertical Datum - Ellipsoidal Heights
Manual
For higher accuracy surveying projects, or when you require the processed data to be in a specific coordinate system, you can choose Manual for the coordinate system.
This allows you to choose from our selection of supported Projections, Horizontal and Vertical Datums. These settings are used for the GNSS post processed kinematic processing steps in the Looq pipeline as well as for format of the exported data.

4. This will successfully create the site in your account and provides you with the option to add scans at this time or skip until later.
Coordinate System Cannot Be Changed Once Created
The coordinate system cannot be edited after site creation. Once scan processing is in progress it becomes locked permanently.
