Use this method when you have only a few captures to transfer, when the internet connection at your site is slow or unreliable, or when a firewall stops the qCam from uploading directly. You’ll download the captures from the qCam to your computer, then upload them to qApp from anywhere with a faster connection.
Before you start
- A laptop or computer with Wi-Fi and a web browser
- A charged qCam battery
- Enough free disk space, since capture files can be large
Download captures from the qCam
- Power on the qCam. Connect the qCam to its battery. You can charge the battery with the USB-C power supply while the qCam is running.
- Connect your computer to the qCam’s Wi-Fi. On your computer, join the network Looq #Serial Number#. The password is 12345678.

- Add your .lmr files. Drag the files from your computer's folder into the upload wizard.
- Finish the wizard. Assign a site, add any base station files, and confirm on the Review page to start processing.
