The Looq "Virtual Survey" tool is the part of our qSurvey module that allows users to draft 3D points and lines with feature codes and export them as a CSV for downstream CAD applications. Set feature code profiles for your entire organization, automatically extract 3D information faster than ever!
The Virtual Survey Tool allows you to do the following:
- Utilize your standard survey code libraries across your organization for increased quality and efficiency
- Organize your extracted data by naming your surveys as you require that can be shared for the site
- Users can easily extract points and/or linework in the 3D view without having to purchase other software or download the data
- Easily export the data as a csv file in a field to finish form that can be use in CAD / Survey applications
Coordinate Systems & Units
The coordinate system must be set on the site-level prior to processing, and all points/line created with the Virtual Survey tool will be in that system. Click on the "Site" tab at the top of the page to see the coordinate system information for that site.
