When an upload from the qCam fails, the cause is almost always the network rather than the capture itself. Company and public networks often have firewalls that block or slow down large uploads. Try these fixes in order, and stop as soon as an upload succeeds.
Fix an upload error
- Try a different Wi-Fi network. Networks with lighter security usually work best, such as a home network or a public library.
- Move closer to the router. If you need to stay on the same network, a stronger signal can help a large upload finish.
- Connect directly with the Ethernet adapter. Plug the qCam into the router or a network port using the USB-C to Ethernet adapter. This is usually faster and more reliable than Wi-Fi. See Connecting To Wired Network.
- Upload from a computer instead. Download the capture from the qCam to your computer, then upload it in qApp from any network. See Uploading Captures.
