Uploading Data (From qCam)

Learn how to upload scans directly from the qCam

Updated on December 4th, 2025

1. Power up the qCam by connecting it to the Battery. Ensure sure the iPhone has sufficient battery. You can charge the iPhone with the provided cable while it is connected to the qCam and powering the qCam simultaneously.

Internet Connection Required

Make sure the qCam is connected to a WiFi network or Wired Ethernet Connection.

2. On the app, select “Saved Captures"

3. In the list of completed captures, find the scan(s) you want to upload and choose the upload button.

4. Depending on the speed of your internet connection, each scan could take up to 30 minutes to upload. This will automatically upload the scans to the registered organization for the device so the data can be processed.

Slow connection?

If your qCam has trouble connecting to your home or office network or is slow, use the included Ethernet to USB-C cable to connect to the network. Attach the USB-C end in the qCam and attach an Ethernet cable to the other end and connect directly to a wall outlet.
