- Click the "Create" button on the Toolbar to get get started. Clicking this button will open a dialogue box in the bottom right corner of the screen.

2. The "Create" dialogue box consists of three fields" Point Number, Code, and Label (Optional)

Point Number: This is the point ID for each node (single point or line vertice). Manually define the starting point number, or allow the tool to define this automatically. The Point Number will increment with each new click.
Code: This value should correspond with an associated entry in the "Code Library". If no match is found you will see the following error: "Code Not Found". To add a new code, open the "Code Library" dialogue and click "Add Code". If a match is found, the tool will display either a point or line icon depending on the feature code type.
Control Codes: For "Line" feature types, you can enable this option to automatically add 'B' to the beginning and 'E' to the end of lines. This is the default format expected by AutoCAD Civil 3D. If this option is disabled, lines will be identified by an number added to the end of the feature code.
Label (Optional): Labels can optionally be added to insert custom commands to the end of the code. Common options are "BOC" and "EOC" to indicate the beginning and ending of a curve for example. Curves will not be represented in the Looq Platform, but the labels will be present on export and can be detected by downstream CAD applications.
