Seven roles can be assigned to a member, held per organization: Admin, Manager, Editor, Analyst, Viewer, Operator and Billing.

Vocabulary

Capture

One recording run from a qCam. The atomic unit of data in Looq.

Site

The container captures are assigned to. Holds settings and exports.

qCam

The capture hardware.

LMR

.lmr

The raw capture file a qCam produces.

RINEX

The GNSS observation file from a base station, used to correct a capture's positions.

Auto-base

Correction against a reference station Looq picks automatically.

Local base

Correction against a base station you set up and recorded yourself.

PPK

Post-processed kinematic — correcting positions after the fact. Every capture gets a PPK report.

PPP

Precise point positioning — computing a precise coordinate for your base from its own observation file.

ATC

Align to Control — the wizard in the Align panel that georeferences a capture against ground control.

CRS

Coordinate reference system. Set per site; captures are processed against it.

Code profile

A named catalogue of qSurvey field codes, maintained by Admins.

The catalogue of poles, crossarms, insulators and hardware qPole builds from.
